Learn Spanish

Spanish is the official language of El Salvador, and there are many ways to learn it, including apps, self-taught courses like Rosetta Stone, and—the best way—in-person classes. Almost anywhere you go in El Salvador, you’ll find in-person Spanish classes, and these are a great way to learn the language. Salvadorans are incredibly hospitable people and will be excited to support your studies.

Citizenship!

Once you’ve fallen in love with El Salvador, it makes perfect sense that you’ll want to stay. Depending on your visa, you can apply for Salvadoran citizenship after anywhere between two and five years.
